Jones & Horan's Return Policy
At Jones & Horan, we don't think buyers should need to take a leap of faith when making an online purchase. Our experts provide detailed condition reports and high-resolution photos for every lot we auction. This transparency eliminates surprises when you get your items in hand. Every description and condition report is guaranteed for accuracy and fully backed by our return policy. If an error was made in the lot you have won, please let us know within 10 days of delivery and we will accept the item(s) back for a 100% refund and cover the cost of return shipping.
Our Return Policy Does Not Cover:
-
Buyer's Remorse: We cannot accept returns if a buyer has had a change of heart about the item(s) won.
-
Buyer Mistakes: Our experts carefully review each lot sold – we cannot accept returns if a buyer fails to review the entire description.
-
Altered Lots: If the lot is altered (parts removed, etc.) upon our receipt, it will be rejected and sent back to the buyer.
-
Hidden Defects: Watches are not disassembled when we write up condition reports. For this reason, we are not responsible for hidden defects that could not be observed without disassembling the watch (ex: removing hands and dial, removing movement plates, etc.)
-
Extracts: We are not responsible if a watch manufacturer is unable to issue an extract.
-
Incomplete Lot Returns: In cases of a multiple-part lot, such as a lot of three pocket watches, all items must be included as part of the return. We do not offer partial refunds or try to determine the value of one piece out of the lot.
-
Timing: If an extended amount of time has passed since the buyer purchased the lot, we will not accept the return.
-
Partial Refunds: We do not offer partial refunds. Lots must be returned for the full refund.
-
Special Shipping Requests: As stated in our shipping policy, we are happy to assist buyers with special shipping requests, but we are no longer able to offer a refund on these items
