HOW TO CONSIGN YOUR
PROPERTY WITH JONES & HORAN

Jones & Horan is always seeking quality timepieces for consignment or outright purchase and would love to hear from you, whether you are looking to sell a single piece or an entire collection.

Consign with Jones & Horan in Five Easy Steps:

1. Contact us at (603) 623-5314, consignment@jones-horan.com (please include details and photos in your email), or complete our online consignment request form. We’ll get in touch to discuss the items you’re looking to sell and provide a contract via email. If you'd like to complete the agreement prior to your in-person consignment appointment, you may download it here.
    

2. Sign the contract and ship your items to our office at 453 Mast Road, Goffstown, NH. Our shipping department can provide a pre-paid, fully insured FedEx shipping label and offer guidance on how to package your items for safe transport. We'll deduct these shipping costs from your proceeds. We are happy to set up an appointment if you'd prefer to drop off your consignment in-person at our office.
    

3. Our experts get to work tagging, photographing, and cataloging your items in extensive detail. We’ll make sure your items are grouped and placed in auctions that will maximize their final sale value.
    

4. Get a pre-sale notification and “attend” the auction. If your items are listed in one of our online auctions, you can monitor the bidding process directly on our website. ​If your items will be included in one of our bi-annual catalog auctions, we’ll mail you a catalog approximately one month prior to auction start.
    

5. Prices realized and payments sent shortly after auction close. We’ll mail you a payment with a settlement statement two weeks after an online auction or four weeks after a featured catalog auction.

Consignment Rates:
Our sliding scale consignor rates are among some of the lowest in the industry. Unlike most auction houses, we never charge a buyer’s premium, have no hidden fees, and our rates include full insurance, detailed auction write ups, professional photography, and advertising. This results in higher hammer prices which get passed directly onto our consignors. 
 

• 9% for any item selling for $20,000 and up

• 13% for any item selling for $10,000 to $19,999

• 17% for any item selling for $5,000 to $9,999

• 20% for watches, clocks, jewelry and coins selling for under $5,000

• 30% for consignments consisting mainly of materials, parts or components, and tools* 

*Bulk materials and tool consignments are accepted on a case-by-case basis, please contact us prior to shipping us your items.
