DESCRIPTION: WW - breitling aopa Navitimer Chronograph, ref 806, manual wind, 40mm x 48mm to lug tips, 22mm lug width, original 18K yellow gold snap back and with bi-directional slide rule bezel with beaded edge, round pump pushers, black suede leather strap, original black glossy aopa dial with gilt printed text, radium painted baton indices, slide rule scale along perimeter, three inset subregisters for minute recording, hour recording and subsidiary seconds, 17J cal 178, s#939367, triple signed. One of only 100 aopa Navitimers crafted in 18K yellow gold, this example stands as not just one of the rarest vintage Breitlings, but also among the most refined. The deep, glossy black dial contrasts in perfect harmony with the warmth of the gold case, creating a look that is both understated and effortlessly elegant.

DESCRIPTION: Mvt: Running, chronograph functions and resets properly, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, light oxide to steelwork, light fine scratches to plates; excellent-plus dial with even light surface spotting; gilt radium syringe hands show light oxide; lightly polished case shows very little wear, purple tarnish forming on the base of the beaded bezel, light dings on the backs of the lugs; original crown shows medium wear, plated finish has started to wear through showing base metal; good plastic crystal.
