Mvt: Running, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright plates with many scattered fine scratches, very minor oxide to steelwork, repurposed metal disk inserted under case screw functioning as a spacer for mvt fit within case; excellent dial with very faint hl at 7, minuscule edge flake under bezel at 11:30; excellent hour and seconds-hand, fair minute hand has oxide and is slightly loose; case front opens wide of 90 degrees (closer to 110 degrees), cuvette serial number (8472) is mismatched to rest of case serial numbers (7028), case shows ample wear, scattered dents and dings to rear, cuvette, and front, engine turning detail with only small faint traces remaining upon a close look, reduced engraving detail with some full loss at shoulders, gold-filled cuvette with large areas of wear to brass; tight bow with discoloration at upper portion from evident soldered repair, crown shows ample wear; good glass crystal.

HC that has been modified with the insertion of a base metal (possibly non-magnetic alloy) insert within its band and a gold-filled cuvette with mismatched serial number to remainder of case, cuvette with 1874 presentation engraving, bow with chain guards, white enamel SS dial, blued umbrella hands, SW-SS, sunburst pattern nickel damascene, s#37693.
