You are a winning bidder?  Congrats!  Here's how to receive your purchase after payment is made:


Large items (such as grandfather clocks) will be the responsibility of the buyer and will be indicated as so in the lot description, but Jones & Horan will assist whenever possible. Shipping cost (including insurance) will be included on your invoice.  Jones & Horan can recommend a New Hampshire shipping service, if needed.
For smaller items, shipping is free within the US in our online-only auctions.  Purchases in one of our Live Auctions will incur a shipping fee.  All international buyers will incur a shipping fee to ship to their country.

Here is a general guideline on shipping carriers used by Jones & Horan:

For auction purchases totaling under $1,000, we generally ship USPS Priority Mail, insured.  Packages valued $200 and over will require a signature.

For all other auction purchases, we ship FedEx 2nd day (or FedEx International), insured.  A signature is required on all packages valued $500 and up.  FedEx has a free tool on their website where you can create an account and specify things like where to leave packages, when to deliver, etc.
A few other shipping policies:
Insurance will always be purchased unless requests to the contrary are received in writing.

There are additional fees for one day mail.  Contact us before making payment to arrange.

If you have a preference as to shipper, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving notification of your winning bids.

It is your responsibility to tell us if you will be traveling or otherwise unable to sign for the delivery, or if you wish to have your purchase shipped to an address other than the one on your invoice.  WE WILL ALWAYS SHIP TO THE ADDRESS ON OUR INVOICE UNLESS REQUESTED OTHERWISE BEFORE PAYMENT IS MADE OR IN A NOTE SUBMITTED WITH PAYMENT.  THANK YOU!
