Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous plates with very few scattered micro-fine scratches, minor oxide to regulator assembly; dial with few negligible minuscule nicks to inner rim of outer chapter, edge wear under bezel; excellent hour and seconds-hand, fine minute hand with oxide; case front opens very slightly wide of 90 degrees, case shows little wear, two dents to rear shoulder near edge, depression at center of cuvette allowing space for culet of outer lid's diamond, good overall engraving detail with mild reduction, some tarnish to lower edge of pendant; replacement bow of somewhat different color pivots freely, crown shows medium wear and has some up/down play; good glass crystal.

APW - Rockford, Plymouth Watch Co, King Edward, Grade 845, 21J, 18S, heavy 14K multicolor gold false box hinge original W.W.C.MFG. Co. HC with scalloped band, rear with multicolor central rosette having a diamond inset at center, front with shield surrounded by multicolor floral detail, gold cuvette, white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, nickel damascene, s#605817. Gross weight of assembled watch 104.5 dwt (162.6 g). A beautifully cased example of this scarce watch, the total production of the Grade 845 was only 650 made. The "Plymouth Watch Co" brand was a Sears Roebuck & Co. private label, and watches under this name were provided to Sears by Rockford and Illinois. From the collection of Dr. Robert Restuccia.
