Patek Philippe, Genève, rare and possibly unique US Navy deck watch with exposed back winding indicator sytem of unique design, Guillaume balance with platinum timing screws and gold weights, serial number repeated next to balance per Geneva Observatory rules, 60mm, massive .900 silver OF original HB&B case with signed silver cuvette, full Patek and Swiss quality markings, SW-SS, silvered dial with all graphics engraved into the surface and then wax-filled, fully capped  lever escapement with unique form of long HS overcoil of about 1.25 turns, allowing the raise to begin just opposite the curb site, jeweled rack and flat HS-loaded pinion setup on back plate for WI operation (a simple and elegant design), fausses-cotes NI damascene, s#119091 with number repeated next to balance for Time Trials observation, number repeated on case-back beneath engraved "US Navy" indication, case #235550, ca 1903-04 approximately. Gross weight of assembled watch 125.3 dwt (194.8 g).  To be sold without reserve on May 3, 2015.
