Mvt: GRO, good balance motion, good poise, plates show faint cloudiness from excessive washing, loss to letter blacking, very few MFS, good slots & settings, 3 small oxide spots on bright work (click wheel), one scratched out; dial has hl & fleck just beneath 5; hands good; practical recase shows light wear, some MFS, no dents or dings; bow & crown show light wear; good glass crystal; one wonders why the perfectly fitting snap-on dial from Tiffany bears the Starr & Marcus contract on the mvt; perhaps there was an association or perhaps this other contract dial was mixed at some point with the original; in any case, the dial is a perfect fit, and there is no number on the back of the dial to clarify the issue; NOTE: to set one removes the bezel, pushes the lower lever up until it clicks, when through setting it is necessary to take a knife point and push back on the lever at the pendant until another click is heard; originally, one simpy pushed the hunting crown to take the watch out of setting mode
