Mvt: GRO, sluggish balance motion but runs well with pressure, good poise, dry oil, a touch of Moebius 9815 on the pallet stones helped the motion to pick up, but the caps are still gummy, very fine plates show hardly any MFS, good slots & settings, hardly any oxide on bright work with the exception of the regulator & whiplash which have filamented oxide across the center; dial original & cleaned by cyanide washing, leaving an attractive frosted appearance; hands good but w/ light oxide overall; finely engraved original case shows very little wear, a number of MFS plus a long FS on the cuvette, no dents or dings, the back at full closure is not straight, so this needs to be tuned slightly; bow & crown show light wear; good glass crystal; a very handsome and not far from mint example
