Mvt: NR, can barely be made to tick with pressure applied to the utterly gummy train, shows signs of good potential balance motion & good poise, plates show fine finish and not too many MFS, but a horological genius has carefully engraved "23 Jewels" under the adjusted mark, apparently as challenged in math as he was in timepiece conservation; otherwise, near mint slots & settings but for tiny marring to EW cap, tiny oxide on bright work but sanded removal of more extensive oxide from the click wheel; dial has hls, may be from a model 1888, maybe not; hands good; purely utilitarian recase shows wear to brass, MFS, a creased dent & dings; replaced bow, nice crown shows minimal wear; plastic crystal w/ MFS; very fine plates but for the intrusive and incorrect inscription which will simply have to be forgiven or elegantly plugged; needs OH, fine click wheel, fine dial, fine HC in gold; fortunately there seem to have been no further mechanical inerventions committed, so the wonderful mvt has good remaining potential
