GRO, mvt nearly pristine with only the faintest microfine surface scratches, good bright-work, and fine gilding in engraved signature; the substantial case is in excellent condition, showing very little wear, with finely engraved monogram and “1882” monogram as well; the one defect is that the lift spring is broken; otherwise hinges, crowns & bow-stops are very fine; the dial has a tiny chip above the 60 seconds mark, with tiny hl proceeding to the dial center; a superb example of this maker’s high grade work
