GRO, fine gilding & bright-work, one tiny oxide spot on winding wheel, near mint case showing only tiny microfine scratches, a tiny surface stain, no wear, fine Louis XIV style pendant, perfect very rare dial, top desirability, fine box with rubbing on edges only
The original dial is three-footed, fastening to the movement with a unique factory original spring loaded mount system; when removing the dial, one has only to lift it out of the mounts by gentle prying; when placing in position, one simply presses down to snap in place; it is an excellent and very functional system not seen in any other watch we are aware of. |
