• 226 Carriage clock-Hour and ½ hour strike and hour repeater with alarm in Anglaise Riche case with Corinthian columns, 8” high with Greek key fluted handle up, white enamel dial with black Roman numerals. “Gruner” in block letters at top center of dial. Faint age crack thru center of alarm dial. Entire dial surrounded by heavy gilt mask, in the shape of elongated arch, lever escapement 8 day mvt

• 228 Carriage clock-Hour and ½ hr strike and quarter hour repeater in Gorge Riche case, 7 ½” to top of handle. Dull finish gilt mask covers both time and alarm. Arabic numerals dials with same mask in center to time chapters, 8 day lever escapement.

• 229 Carriage clock-Hour and half hour strike, hour repeater in Anglaise case with fully turned balusters at corners with alarm. Gilt mask face, center of time chapter ring is a pierced gilt mask, small alarm dial with a solid gilt mask in center. Name of “T. Kirkpatrick” on time chapter ring, 7 ½” to top of handle. Purchased 10/24/83 at Christie’s.

• 230 Carriage clock-Hour and ½ hour time and strike, in engraved one-piece case that is 6 ¾” high with handle up. Strikes on bell and with exposed countwheel on back plate. “Mouline” Paris stamped on bottom center of back plate. Original escapement platform with later lever escapement. 8 day mvt

• 234 Carriage clock-Time and strike in unusual round repousse Doucine and pierced case has four corner columns and two free standing. Arabic dial is surrounded by fine repousse mask. There is a very unusual left hand swing on back door. 8 day lever escapement. Top with some discoloration.

• 236 Carriage clock-Time and alarm Anglaise Rische case, 5” high to top of raised handle, hand colored painted dial (original?) with a multicolored cherub in each of the four corners. Time chapter ring is black enamel with white Arabic numerals. Alarm chapter ring is also black enamel. Center of time chapter ring is decorated with small rose-colored flowers in a circle. Side panels and back door of has unusual beveled glass, alarm bell is mounted on upper part of back plate. 8 day cylinder escapement.

Clock with “Herman Berg & Co Chicago” lettering quite faint. Circular compass on top. Base of case, trim at top of case, and rigid handle were all chrome plated at some time.
